Our Fence-Building Process
Step One: Quote
Get a free quote where we come measure your yard & discuss options. We'll then provide you a no-cost estimate.
Step Two: Contract
Once you sign the contract, our work begins and we aim to get your fence installed within 3-6 weeks.
Step Three: Notice
We'll give you a notice the week we plan to install, and then another notice a day prior to us coming to set posts.
Step Four: Fence Install
We aim to have all fences installed within 1-2 days of beginning, so you can get back to your regularly scheduled programming!
Step Five: Become the Talk of The Neighborhood
Warning: neighbors may want to start hanging out at your place more after falling in love with your fence.

How long has your company been around?
Our parent company, Forks Fence Co was started by Beau Votava in 2019. After growing our business in Grand Forks and starting to get more inquiries in the Red River Valley, we opened TrueFence Fargo in 2025 to expand our operations.
How long does the whole process of a new fence take?
Our quote will happen within a day. Our installation will happen within 3-6 weeks of the quote being approved. Our installation process will last 1-2 days in length. In short: we'll move as quickly as you do!
What fence material is right for me?
We'd love to talk to you in person about this and explore your options — but cedar (wood) is one of the more affordable options, with vinyl being one of the longest-lasting and most durable. Have a budget you're looking to stay within? We'll work to help you do so.
Do you warranty your fences?
Our vinyl gates have a 10-year warranty – and gates are typically the first part of your fence to start failing. But, we stand behind our quality. If you have any issues with your fence after it's installed, our owner (Beau) will personally call you to talk through solutions and work with you. Also, have comfort knowing that we only work with the strongest and longest-lasting materials so you can get the most longevity possible from your fence.
